1. Fear of Rejection Runs Deep
Despite the carefree atmosphere, many cruisers were surprisingly timid when it came to shooting their shot. Fear of rejection loomed large, even in this liberated environment.
2. More Social than Sexual
Contrary to popular belief, the Bliss Cruise is not all sex. Yes there are lots of steamy encounters, and at the end of the day, that’s the goal. But it’s also about being social with the coolest tribe of people in the world – SWINGERS!
3. YES Floating Tinder App / NO Floating Orgy
Forget the image of a wild, hedonistic orgy – the Bliss cruise felt more like a floating Tinder App for couples. Swiping right on new friendships-turned-playmates was the name of the game. While orgies and Bacccanalian style antics existed, they were fewer and farther between.
4. Everyone's Your New Best Friend
The friendliness aboard the ship was off the charts! From impromptu conversations by the pool to sharing cocktails at the bar, it felt like we’d known everyone for years.
5. Communication Craps
Despite the abundance of friendly faces, communication onboard was a total crapshoot. Missed connections were all too common, leaving us feeling like we’d rolled snake eyes at times and seeking to get dealt a new hand. The RC app sucks, and while the dry erase whiteboard is cute, it isn’t very savvy in the 21st century.
6. The Older Crowd Dominates
Amidst the mature crowd onboard, predominantly aged 55+, we were tantalizingly reminded of the exquisite fusion of passion and maturity. As seasoned adventurers in the more youthful lifestyle scene, we reveled in the intoxicating allure of age and experience. Bring on your pasties and shake your money-makers, no matter your age!
7. Time Flies When You're Having Fun
Five days may sound like a decent amount of time, but on a cruise, it’s over in the blink of an eye! We couldn’t believe how quickly our voyage came crashing to an abrupt end. A 7-day cruise will be like a soothing balm for the soul, easing the constant grip of FOMO.
8. Playrooms: Newbie-Friendly Zones
The playrooms onboard were more reminiscent of local club setups than anything else. It was all about exploration and experimentation, with a newbie-friendly vibe and plenty of one-on-one play. And don’t fear the non couples-only areas. With everyone a couple, we promise all the playrooms are fair game!
9. Pressure of Full Swap Expectations
With the hefty price tag of the cruise ($3500+), there was an unspoken pressure to engage in full swap activities. But we quickly learned the importance of staying true to our boundaries and seeking out like-minded individuals. There’s someone for everyone! Don’t settle!
10. Day 3 FOMO Frenzy
By day 3, a noticeable shift occurred as the cruise atmosphere was electrified with a palpable surge of FOMO. The sexual charge quadrupled, and a frenzy of anticipation gripped every passenger. Like a game of sexual musical chairs, everyone scrambled to secure play partners before the music stopped, fearing they’d be left without a seat in the exhilarating dance of desire.
Our first cruise adventure was a whirlwind of surprises and unforgettable moments. From overcoming fears of rejection to navigating the social landscape, we emerged with a newfound appreciation for BEING A SWINGER and feeling part of the TRIBE. Whether you’re a seasoned swinger or a curious newbie, there’s something for everyone on the high seas of pleasure!
