What Is “Just for Dinner”?

At its core, Just for Dinner is exactly what the name suggests – a refined dining experience with no expectation of anything beyond the meal. Just for Dinner events are hosted at high-end, often Michelin-rated, restaurants and feature seasonal tasting menus crafted by world-class chefs, paired with fine wines. The setting is luxurious, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere elegant.

The primary goal is to provide a space where like-minded, upscale, well-heeled individuals in the lifestyle can meet and connect over exceptional food. However, unlike most lifestyle events, there is no “after-party” or planned opportunity for play. It is just that – Just for Dinner – offering a discreet and upscale introduction to The Group, the organization behind these gatherings.

Here's How It Works

To attend, you begin by expressing interest through their website. Shortly after, you’ll receive an email with a video introduction (see below), which explains the concept of the club and the Just for Dinner events. The tone of the video is polished but formal (a little stuffy)—more informational than seductive—highlighting the exclusivity of the dinners and the caliber of restaurants involved. If you decide it’s something you’re interested in, you reply affirmatively to move forward.

Next, you’ll receive an invitation to formally apply for membership, which involves submitting full names and G-rated, full-length photos for approval. This vetting process ensures that attendees align with the club’s values and exclusivity. Once approved, you’re in—and the exact location of the dinner will only be shared with you after acceptance, adding an air of mystique to the experience.

What Are the Pros?

We REALLY enjoyed the dinner. It was on the rather pricey side, but we felt like the meal was great and the conversation was very good as well.

The dinners themselves have received glowing reviews for the food and wine. Many attendees have remarked on the exceptional quality of the meals, which live up to the “foodie hype.” Many Reddit reviewers frequently describe the discussions as wonderful amongst the dinner guests, while others cite the seating as too forced and structured with limited movement to ensure a free-flow of conversation amongst varied partners.

Joining such an exclusive club might also appeal to those who enjoy the vetting process itself—because let’s face it, being invited to something exclusive can feel a little thrilling. The idea of rubbing elbows with an elite group of professionals in a discreet, curated setting can sound like lifestyle goals for the right crowd. And while the price point might give some pause, for those who enjoy spending on opulence and ambiance, it might just be worth the splurge.

We met a few couples who we’ve kept up with and met again, so it was a great experience for us. Not sure if we’d do another one anytime soon, but who knows. George and Ann are really awesome.

What Are the Cons?

Wife and I went to one a few years ago. $600 for a very nice dinner with a stuffy atmosphere. It was nice, but we personally won’t do it again.

That said, the exclusivity and luxury come at a price—literally. These dinners are notoriously expensive, with tickets often starting at $500 to $600 per couple, depending on the venue. For many, this price point feels steep for an evening that doesn’t include any lifestyle activity. And while the dinners are a great way to meet like-minded individuals, the lack of a playful or sultry atmosphere might leave some feeling that the experience falls short of what they typically look for in a lifestyle event.

From past attendees, the dinners are seen as a thinly veiled interview process to join the super elusive and selective, The Group, which hosts even more exclusive luxury events throughout the year. These events range from Las Vegas weekends with helicopter rides into the Grand Canyon to yacht stays at Freak Fest in the Florida Keys. While undeniably luxurious, the additional costs for these events can quickly add up ($1500-$10,000 according to Reddit rumors), making the overall experience one that appeals primarily to those with significant disposable income and probably significantly more mature.

The highlight of the dinners are the food. We’ve been to two, George and Liz are ok but definitely “on”/distant. Crowd definitely skews older (40+). Zero sexual energy/interactions between guests; it really is just a dinner.

Rome Flirt Club Review

Who is Just For Dinner For?

Just for Dinner isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. It’s best suited for those who enjoy fine dining, stimulating conversation, and a more mature, refined take on lifestyle events. The crowd tends to skew older, often in the 50+ range, and the setting is more about socializing than sensuality. If you’re someone who loves high-end dining and the idea of a super-special, exclusive club appeals to you, this might be a perfect fit.

However, if you’re looking for a more traditional lifestyle experience—complete with playrooms, sultry dance floors, and opportunities for connection beyond conversation—this might not scratch that itch.

Now, let me paint you a picture of what could be. Picture an enormous Italian villa, nestled in the countryside, dripping with romance and luxury. That’s Flirt Club in Rome. We’re talking lavish dinners that feel like a wedding straight out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous attendees, sultry topless ladies in Isis wings performing seductive shows, and playrooms where the energy is electric. And guess what? All of that comes at a fraction of George’s asking price—probably less than $200 (excluding dinner).

We had a blast at a dinner. We do go out for nice dinners a lot and it was pricey for the venue but still very good. Couples were all sharp, attractive, and charming.

So Do You Know George?

At the end of the day, Just for Dinner is a unique offering in the lifestyle community. For those who crave exclusivity, posh elegance, and Michelin-quality dining, it delivers exactly what it promises. The food, wine, and conversations consistently earn high praise, and the air of mystique surrounding the events adds to their allure. For a certain crowd, this curated, slightly elitist experience is precisely the draw.

That said, swinging is about more than just a fancy dinner. It’s about the spark, the energy, and the sense of community that makes the lifestyle so inclusive and exciting. While George’s dinners might appeal to those who enjoy the pomp, circumstance, and formal vibe, the lack of playtime and its highbrow style vetting turn us off. For us, the lifestyle should embrace everyone, not feel like an exclusive club with velvet ropes.

So, do you know George? For us, the answer is no. Cheers! 🍷

💋 Happy swinging!

The whole thing is quite judgey, in a certain way. George is *evaluating* you — is this someone I find attractive and want to invite to future, more elaborate events?
