Kasidie Review: Good, Bad, and Ugly of This Swinger App

New Swinger Podcast | Apple | Spotify

Looking for a Kasidie review? We’ve got the good, the bad, and the downright ugly of this West Coast swinger app. From endless flirts to flakey dates, here’s our take on whether it’s worth your time.

By: Kat Swings

Let’s talk Kasidie, the swinger app that’s got its roots deep in the West Coast scene. If you’re in California or Las Vegas, you’ve probably heard of it—or maybe even dipped your toe into its digital playground. Heck, we’ve been there, done that, and have a few stories to tell. Spoiler alert – Kasidie (like ALL the apps) is a LOT of work, and whether it’s worth the effort depends on your patience and your tolerance for flakes.

Kasidie swinger app review

The Basics of Kasidie

Kasidie is based in Nevada, making it the go-to for swingers in Sin City and the sunny coasts of Cali. It offers all the usual bells and whistles – user profiles, messaging, events, and those ever-present “flirts” you can send to break the ice (more on those later). The app positions itself as a social network for lifestyle folks, and while the platform looks promising, the reality? Let’s just say it’s not always the jackpot you were hoping to hit.

The Pros of Kasidie

Let’s start with the good stuff, because it’s not all doom and gloom.

  • Event Listings: Kasidie’s event section is a goldmine if you’re in the right area. From private parties to meetups at clubs, it’s got a solid calendar of happenings.
  • Strong West Coast Presence: If you’re swinging around California or Nevada, there’s no denying Kasidie’s popularity. It’s where a lot of the local action happens.
  • Niche Community: Compared to bigger apps like SDC or SLS, Kasidie feels more intimate, catering specifically to West Coast swingers.

If you’re someone who loves events and networking, it might scratch the itch—if you’re willing to put in the effort.

The Cons of Kasidie

Now, buckle up because the cons come hard and fast, just as they do for ALL the apps.

  • Catfishing and Fakes: Let’s just say Kasidie isn’t the Fort Knox of profile verification. Fake profiles and flakes are everywhere. Our first “oof” of a flake? Yep, Kasidie was the culprit. We were all set for a meet-up, only to be ghosted an hour before showtime. Cue the eye roll. Happens to us all!
  • Time Wasters: It’s not just about fakes – it’s about people who never plan to meet up. Picture collectors, endless flirters, and general time suckers abound. If you value efficiency, you’re in for a headache.
  • Labor-Intensive: Wading through profiles, sending flirts, and trying to spark genuine connections feels like a full-time job. And for what? Maybe one successful meet-up for every hundred attempts? No, thank you.
  • Outdated Design: The platform isn’t exactly user-friendly. It feels clunky compared to newer apps, which doesn’t help when you’re already knee-deep in effort.

Our Take

Here’s the thing: Kasidie could work for you if you’re local to their main hubs and have the patience of a saint. But for us? We’ve got trust issues with this app, and we’re not keen to revisit the scene of the flake crime. When you put in the work and get burned, it’s hard to muster the energy to dive back in.

We’re not the only ones feeling the pain. Fellow swingers have told us they cast their nets wide on Kasidie and other apps like SLS & SDC, messaging dozens—if not hundreds—of potential playmates. The result? One meet-up. One. That’s a lot of effort for very little payoff, and frankly, it feels like the app is more of a time sink than a time saver.

Final Thoughts

Kasidie has its niche, and if you’re willing to sift through the noise, you might strike gold. But for us, the cost-benefit analysis just doesn’t add up. Too many fakes, too much work, and not enough payoff. Your time and energy are precious—make sure you’re spending them wisely.

In the world of swinger apps, sometimes it’s better to leave the fishing pole at home and head straight for the events or clubs where you can connect face-to-face. As for Kasidie? Let’s just say we’re keeping our distance… for now.

💋 Happy swinging!
